SHF: Easy Weekend

I ended my SHF style diary with a weekend look. I wore my white men's shirt...yep "my" being the key word. You see, I've always loved wearing a couple of men's clothing, but never really owned any piece. I simply relied on my brother's wardrobe, he was kind enough to let me "borrow" a shirt every now and then. But since I'm now miles and oceans away from his wardrobe, I figured I'd start collecting my own.

What I'm wearing: H&M jacket; H&M Homme shirt; Mango cropped jeans; Stella McCartney purse; Asos loafers; and Fossil wristwatch.

On another note, thanks to my new readers, I see you all.

SHF: White on White

My fifth day of SHF style diary.
I'm going through a fashion phase right now. A fashion phase being a particular time I can't get enough of a particular thing. I get that once in a while: the only- skirts phase, the baggy t-shirts phase etc.
Now, it's white on white (or off-white/cream). This just seems appealing to me presently.

But I decided to wear a bomber jacket over this to make things interesting a little.

What I'm wearing: Pim Kie bomber jacket; Zara tank; Topshop pants; New Look sandals; Louis Vuitton bag.

I had the craziest night last night, now I just want to sleep all day. Catch up with you guys later.

SHF: Pretty Prints

Yesterday was the fourth day of my SHF style diary, I decided to play around a little with prints. It was a long hectic day but I had my prints to cheer me up.

What I'm wearing: Topshop pants; H&M tank; Zara card and wedges; Fossil wristwatch.

SHF: Polka Polka Polka Dots

For my third daily style on SHF, I wore my polka dots palazzo pants. I love polka dots...probably because they kind of give a vintage vibe...but I try not to indulge too much in this print.

By the way, I thought I looked like my mum, when she was younger of course...(Hi mummy...*waving*). And my french teacher said my bun was tres élégant :D

What I'm wearing: New Look blouse; H&M pants; Zara cardi and wedges; Louis Vuitton bag; fossil wrist watch; and Ondo coral beads.

SHF: A Stain Of Rouge

Yesterday was the second day of my feature on Style House Files, and it was also my birthday...like you guys know...and here is what I wore:

What I'm wearing: Zara everything; except Mango bag; Fossil wristwatch; and Ondo coral beads.

So how does it feel to be 25: It feels...heck, I feel nothing. No sudden appearance of wrinkles around my eyes, or an overnight growth of grey hair...nothing, contrary to my expectation. It feels the same, the only change is I crossed over from "early-twenties" to "late-twenties" as far as general description of age goes. So "late-twenties" women, here I come!

P.S: Thanks to all you guys who wished me a happy birthday, it meant a lot to me.

SHF: Walking The Street...

So Style House Files asked to do a style diary feature of me, which is super cool as it's the number one go-to fashion website in Nigeria. It started yesterday, and it's going to be for a week.

For my first look, I went 70's:

P.S: It's my birthday today! I'm going to share with you guys later how it feels to be hitting a quarter of a century. Ciao for now.

I'm Back!

Hey there people, I was MIA for a while due to situations beyond my control, one of which was I couldn’t sign in on blogspot for some reason...but I’m back, I hope I was duly missed. While I wasn’t blogging here I developed an interest in poetry...yep writing poems. For those of you who are lovers of poetry you can visit my other blog (which is more personal I must say) for a couple of my poems, and also my daily style: www.stylishevafter.tumblr.com
Talking  about daily style, I was featured on a Spanish blog called My Daily Style (www.mydailystyle.es), a blog I came across in a book, Style Diaries: World Fashion from Berlin to Tokyo by Simone Werle, a good book for anyone who wants to be inspired with fashion and style.
